Officer Erickson

In Chapter 4 the reader is introduced to the new police officer Erickson. He is the same officer that Jazz saw at the crime scene and who he could tell was nervous. In this Chapter Jazz is starting to think that he could be a suspect. He was nervous at the crime scene but not at the police station. He also wandered down to the morgue in the middle of night for no apparent reason. The rent-a-cop was on duty to patrol the area, not the on duty cop which makes Erickson seem suspicious to Jazz. Jazz tries to make this clear to detective G. William but, he doesn't pay any attention to what Jazz is trying to saying.
