Favorite Character
My favorite character was Howie. Most people have said Jazz is their favorite character, but Howie is mine because he keeps Jazz held together. He is such a loyal friend and he is always there and lightens the mood a little. I feel like I would want a friend like Howie because I would be able to rely on him. Even though he does have a disability, his presence in the book made me feel like things would be okay for Jazz.

Bridget I agree with you that Howie was my favorite character. Even though everybody said Jazz was their favorite I felt like he wasn't relatable because he was the son of a serial killer and most people including myself haven't expirienced anything like that. Howie was like the much needed sidekick. If it wasn't for Howie I think Jazz would be unable to stay sane. Howie was always there to help Jazz out without letting him over do it, he kept jazz on the ground.
