My favorite character

My favorite character in, "I Hunt Killers" by Barry Lyga would be Howie. Ever since we were introduced to Howie, I always kind of liked him. I liked the relationship that Jazz and Howie had. Overall they are complete opposites but in the end they are still best friends. And even though Howie knows everything about Jazz's past and his present he doesn't let it come between his friendship with Jazz. I also love the way Jazz cares for Howie. When Howie was slashed by the killer when they were at Ginny's apartment, the first thing Jazz did was try to help his best friend. Jazz made the paramedic frightened so that Howie would be able to make it to the hospital in time before he bleed out. In the end, Howie was my favorite character because even with his illness he was still brave and turned out to be a superhero in his mind.
