Jazz's Tattoo

I think Jazz's tattoo was a really cool idea. It literally labeled him with what he stands for, and it's tattooed backwards so that only he can see it when he stands in front of a mirror. That shows that he's doing this for himself, and not anyone else. His father's reputation and negative influence in his life has made him really want to make up for the past, and hunting killers to stop people like his father and save innocent people's lives makes Jazz feel like he's doing some kind of justice. The tattoo portrays his character perfectly.

I agree with Kylie; by Jazz getting his tattoo it really wrapped up the book and gave it a clear ending. As well, it tied the book back to the title. I always find it really interesting all the different ways in which authors choose the title for their books and how they will ultimately relate to the book.

I also agree with Kylie as well as Brittany. I think Jasper's tattoo really outlines and solidifies what he wants in life. He was always afraid of becoming a killer and after his journey with the Impressionist, he really knows that he isn't a killer and his tattoo will always remind him that he is one of the good guys, not one of the bad guys.
