Beginning

To me the beginning of the book was very intriguing and interesting. The book starts off getting right into the case which I liked because we did not have to read much background information. We are also introduced to the detective G.Williams and his best friend Howie. The book also talks about his dad who was a past serial killer and who is the one Jazz has learned all of his trick about solving a case from. I also found the beginning intriguing because there is always mystery being presented which makes you want to continue reading. The reader doesn't know whether Jazz will solve the case first or G. Williams.
