My favorite character

My favorite character in the novel was in fact Jazz. I liked him because he wasn’t your average and ordinary teenager where he was a more shadowy character that always keeps things interesting. I feel like your always-questioning Jazz especially because he watched the cops search a murder scene as well as having a father who is a legendary serial killer. Jazz falls under the category of my favorite character because he really does capture you questioning if he has done something or if he’s going to do something, even if he is hiding something. I also like how Jazz’ motive to help the police was to prove the town wrong and that he strives to be nothing like his dad; but overall his mysterious and mischievous personality is what drew me to him.
