Jazz

In the novel I Hunt Killers Jazz is not your ordinary teenager who grows up with a strong loving family with a solid background. He has a father that is a legendary serial killer and "Dear Old Dad" told Jazz basically everything he needs to know about being a serial killer. I am sure Jazz did not what to know this information, but his father told him anyway. Jazz's father Billy also teaches his son about the mind of a serial killer and Jazz uses what he knows and joins forces with the police to help capture the impressionist. Even though Jazz was able to help the police with the knowledge of serial killers, the information that he learned from his father traumatized him. Jazz has this continues nightmare about a knife and how the knife is cutting something and he can hear his father's voice saying it's as easy as cutting chicken. The real reason why Jazz wanted to help the police so much was because he wanted to prove to himself and society that he was not going to follow in his father's footsteps and become a serial killer.
